Those who haven't buy windows vista can hold your horses for now...
Don't buy vista anymore
Those who have already bought vista, You can consider selling it before buying the next release.

I went to a computer shop and purchase 2 1gig rams and the shop owner told me that a newer release of windows will be released in near future, in fact, he has tried it.
Microsoft has sent trial releases to retailers to test it out and gather feedback to futher improve it.
He said that it is a whole lot better and improved compared to vista. With most of the compatibilty issues really working out.
Boots faster, no more nonsense like what vista users are facing now.

To me.. they are all rumors. Today I would guess that microsoft are discussing of their opinion of what to make for the next windows operation system. Those youtube videos are kinda cool, but I want everything different that doesn't familiar with Vista, lol.

"Mojave" has nothing to do with windows 7. That's just a marketing ploy.

Shingo, the guy in the computer store full of shit. MS isn't releasing any pre-beta stuff until the developers conference at the end of the month. The first beta isn't scheduled until December. There's some screenshots floating around, which frankly don't impress me because it has the same interface as Vista.

I'll upgrade to Windows 7 if my company buys a license for me. Other than that, I'm going to rock XP until the wheels fall off!

So, you can wait until 2010? I couldn't wait that long. I'm sure we'll have enough money to buy new Windows version before then. I understand you don't want to spend your money on vista then Windows 7. I'm not really execiting for them making new Windows 7 because it's too far ahead. I'll never know if I'm gonna die before 2010, haha... Pray God to keep me alive. Well, this remind me of Destination movies.

I would buy a new OS provided it has a new feature or better improvements.
Unlike vista, despite having direct 10X , does not really speed up gaming. Having too much issues with regards to software.
Unlike XP, which was worth the buck as it has the auto install usb plug in hardware feature, and also automated updates that scan your computer and after which recommends which plug in is needed .

Vista has too many versions to consider, and the steep price.. Is really something that turns me off.

The shop keeper defines vista as "windows ME", the crap before windows XP.
Windows 7 is the real one that is coming up.

Yeah, uh, I'm going to have to go ahead, and sorta, disagree with him there. laughing3.gif

WinME never worked well. Vista works great.

I hate Windows 2000. I love Windows XP for business. I love Vista for home user. Lot to learn, but very familiar on each Windows Operation System. Lots of people have their own dislike & like between Windows OP which I have several dislike between XP & Vista. For example, I hate Vista security which XP doesn't have it. I hate Windows XP because I had lots of erros and never had a bad error with Vista. You know, things like that. So far, I like to see Windows 7 that between Xp and Vista.

"mojave" is a marketing ploy by microsoft to see if ppl actually don't like vista or are just going along w/ stereotype that vista sucks [ppl were told it's a new OS, all who tried it really liked it, even though it was just vista under a different name]

Windows 7 is ganna be vista w/o all the garbage and will work better and play nicer with other devices.
it'll be much better than vista with touch screen (like the surface only in computer form) capabilities.
microsoft claims to have learned from it's mistakes in vista.

smiling.gif . Am I glad I did not waste my money on vista..
I just hope that microsoft will Just release one version.
I hate it when I need to bank my money on one of the 4 to 5 flavours of his OS.
In the past there is only one version. Then it become XP home or XP pro.
Then It become Vista Home, Business, Ultimate .. etc....
Whats next?
This is not Ice-cream or something. Save the money spent on making the flavours on proper researching will do them a lot more good...
