It appears that the explorer.exe is corrupted.

This thread will explain how to do a check and replace corrupted system files

Have you tried using a registry scanner? most problems that people have with their explorer not working are from errors in their .dll files. try a registry scanner if you have never done one then you will be amazed at how much they space and unneeded files they take off of your computer. *snip Free Trial of Registry Scanner

Nice try dude..

Thanks Mr.N , By the way smile2.gif

Ignore the above post and did the solution from Shingo work?

ACTUALLY DONT CLICK THAT LINK AT ALL!
I clicked it and kaspersky popped up virus warning, request permission to get it removed?

ALSO Web Of Trust* gave that site a horrifcally bad mark!

*WOT is an amazing plugin for FF that lets users rate sites depending on factors like Privacy, child saftey, reliability!

If you got FF go google it and DL it!

FF is firefox browser.

Anyway, Simply press the Windows key + R to bring up the run terminal.

Then type sfc /scannow.

It will proceed to do a check on your system files and replace if required.

In case you are using vista , the command is SFC.EXE /SCANNOW
