Saw this in an article for the best rig you get make in 2009. Kinda interesting.
1) Corsair Hydro H50 Water cooling heatsink for even the most demanding systems you get ever built. Heat related injuries to your CPU, I don't think so. 2) XFX HD-597A-CNB9 Radeon HD 5970 or XFX Radeon HD 5870 The most demonic card of now HD 5970, 2.1 PCI express tech. Yep.. 2.1 is not a typo error. 2Gig worth of DDR 5 rams on board. Will not take any light hearted PSU lesser than 650Watts and below. Linking 2 of these in cross fire would mean the meanest of all graphics and detail level you can say. " Bring it ON" 3) OCZ Z series 1000W PSU Lots of power and not noisy while it is running. Scores pretty high in Power efficiency . 4) EVGA E760 A high end motherboard that allows 3 true PCI-E 2.0 slots that do not share bandwidth when you hook up 3 graphic cards at one go. 5) Kingston HyperX T1 Series 3GB or Kingston HyperX 6GB These T1 HyperX rams run at DDR 3 - 2000 unlike the normal DDR 3 - 1333. Experience extraordinary performance. 6) Corsair Obsidian Series 800D Big and huge tower casing for you to stuff an elephant in it. Lots of holes in it for wires to run neatly in the chasis. 7) Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB 2000 Gigs for all your files and stuff you can never get enough from a hard disk. 8) Intel X25-M 160 gig SSD drive No moving parts in this package. Installs games in a flash, and starts up in an instant. Article says, installation of windows 7 took around 10 mins. -------------------- My website|I recommend Windows 7 |Solved cases Archive

Looks good.
Although for my dream system I'd change a few things. I'd get custom water cooling, the H50 is only as good as high end air cooling, apparently. High end Corsair PSU. Corsair ram. Different case, I don't know which. Three 5870s instead of two 5970s, should be better performance in my opinion. And just for the LOLZ I'd put two SSD's in RAID0. If only I had moneyz. Hehe. I don't game that much at the moment anyway, but it would still be awesome. -------------------- SIG UNDER CONSTRUCTION! |

Wow.. I thought you just got a new system . Isn't it too fast for another? I would only aim for one SSD drive actually,
These drives are said give obvious speed improvements -------------------- My website|I recommend Windows 7 |Solved cases Archive
