Hey there.
I am currently looking for a new labtop, and since I am in college right now, I have the right to buy one of the following three labtops with a great discount, and since I don´t understand much of their features, I would like some recomendations.

Computer 1

Processor: Intel Core Duo T4300-2,2GHz
Graphics Card: nVidia G105M 512MB
Memory: 8GB (4GB DDR2 800 + 4 GBb MMC ReadyBoost)
Hard Drive: 500 GB
Media: DVD Recorder
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Others: Webcam

Computer 2

INSYS G4M3Force HD 9761WTUN

Monitor: 15.6'' CinemaWide 16:9
Processor: CPU Intel Core2Duo T6600 2,2 GHz
Graphics Card: nVidia G105M 512MB
Memory: 4 GB DDR2 800 + 4 GB MMc TurboBoost
Hard Drive: HDD 500 Gb SATA 5400
Media: DVD Recorder
Operating System: Linux Magic Box 14
Others: Webcam, Wi-Fi, HDMI, e-SATA

Computer 3

INSYS 8748S

Monitor: 14.1 WXGA (1280X800)
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core T4300 - 2,2 GHz
Graphics Card: Sis M672 512Mb UMA
Memory: 4Gb DDR2 SO-DIMM + 4 Gb MMC ReadyBoost
Hard Drive: Hdd 500 Gb SATA 5400
Media: DVD Recorder
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Others: Webcam, Wi-Fi

Please tell me the pros and cons of each, what is good, what is bad, what could be better, etc.
Are any of these even considered "good" for the time we live in currently or should I try to spend a little more money on something better?

Monitor
Computer 3 has a slightly smaller display (14.1") than 1 & 2. Also 1 & 2 have a higher res
QUOTE
15.6'' CinemaWide 16:9
The aspect ratio of 16:9 is basically the best.

CPU
as you can see, the all have the same clock speeds. While PC 1 & 3 are both running the T4300, PC 2 is running the T6600. Which is faster.

GPU
Both 1 & 2 have their GPU's made by Nvidia while 3 has it made by the same person that made the motherboard. I would assume the GPU 1 & 2 both have is better.

RAM(memory)
All have 4GB. Both 1 & 2 state the memory is running at 800MHZ, while 3 does not state the speed...

HDD
Pretty much the same.

Operating system
1& 3 have vista home premium while 2 has linux. If you've never used linux before, avoid this. I'm not really sure why these are being sold with vista... where I live computers are not even sold with it any more as vista uses more RAM and Processing power than the newest operating system; windows 7.

Conclusion
If I was making this purchase I would buy PC 2 and then install windows 7 on it because it's the best of the 3 and I wouldn't want to use linux.

Otherwise I'd get PC1 as it's similar to PC3 but has a wider screen and presumably a better graphics chip.
