Hello,
I'm wondering if it's possible to set up parental controls and what not on our wireless network for for everyone that connects to it. We use a Belkin router. Any help would really be appreciated, and just let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks. |

What kind of parental controls are you trying to setup? (ie. content filtering? access times?)

Content filtering you'll need to do at a computer level. It's better if you do it that way anyhow. You really can't filter content through an 'out of the box' router. Some routers you can add what time certain computers are allowed to access the internet but that's about as granular as it gets.
You always could setup a proxy server on one of your computers and run all web traffic through that, but that is a pretty complicated process and generally considered overkill for a home network. Probably just best to install some sort of content filtering/monitoring on whatever computers you want to do that on. -------------------- b4yp's latest Twitter update:
