Hello from Kentucky and Florida.
To explain some things, we reside in warm weather in Kentucky and in cold weather in Florida. Sometimes it does not quite work out that way, this morning it is 48F, brrr...... As a retiree my interests are still running quite wide from languages to woodworking to metal working to air cooled VWs to bee keeping and, of course the good operation of my computer. The computer is the gateway to answering many of my questions and interests and so I come here and hope to draw on you knowledge at times. Thanks |

Welcome to the forums Hello Sly, maybe you can help me with my first question: Can the reach of a router or the reception of a laptop be extended at least by a little bit? I am running a Toshiba Satellite with Windows XP and would like to take it out about fifty feet from the house. This is just at the fringe of the experienced range. Are there any attachments that can be purchased short of relocating the router? Thanks for any help. This post has been edited by Pepo: Feb 7 2010, 04:16 PM |
