I have a Mac (G4 OS 10.3.9) and a PC (Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit). I'm running ProTools on the Mac and I would like to connect the two so that I can use the PC like an external hard drive. I went to the Mac store and they said I could do file sharing over a network (too slow for recording) or take the hard drive out of my PC and get a dock for it (but I'd like to keep using my PC). I am wondering if there is another option to make this work or if I just have to buy an external hard drive.

Probably be best to just buy an external drive!
