Hi. I have recently received the DVI to HDMI cables I had ordered last week. I have one of them connected right now and everything seems to work fine except that, when I run Warcraft 3 I get an error that says:

Warcraft 3 was unable to initialize DirectX. Please ensure you have DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current. DirectX may be found on your Warcraft 3 install CD under Options.

Previously I had been using component cables and an S-Video to component converter piece. Why would changing cables give this error?

My computer:
DX 11
Nvidia GeForce 7900
Samsung LED 7100 TV (for a monitor)

I don't believe that switch cables has anything to do with that problem what i would do it to just update your DirectX drivers just in case because maybe there was an update or something if the problem still persists let me know

Hope this helps
