Hi, i have got a sata pci card and hope to run an extra hard drive off of it. The trouble is, when the driver for the pci sata card is installed (viamraid.sys), windows just wont boot up.

i know i can delete the viamraid.sys file from the driver folder in system32, which will let windows run fine, but then of course my sata card wont be recognised!

Anyone know what i can do??

Thanks
