Hi guys, ive another quick queston for you today, regarding a problem that I am having with opening applications.

This all started a short while back, when I spent a rather long period of time without an internet connection, due to my phone line being disconnected.
Eventually after much searching around for deals and research, I established a new connection via Vodaphone. The connection involves plugging a device into the frount of my computer, but anyway this is beside the point.

It became clear immediatly that certain applications would not open, including all PDF files. I would click to "download" these files, and then proceed to "open" them when asked the question. It would then begin to do so and open a relevant window, which would for the mostpart remain blank. Within the few preceeding seconds the "open" or "save" box would appear again. If I continued to select "open", (or "save" for that matter) the process would repeat again and again for all eternity.

I have tried downloading Acrobat Adobe, but this has failed to achieve any successful results, and I have noticed no difference.

You could try downloading and installing the program Foxit Reader to open PDF files.
