Yes, random lag. It's very frustrating and it only happens after I play a game for about fifteen minutes to an hour. I've been cleaning my registry, used cCleaner, attempting to do another Defrag. I've also updated my video driver, and then downgraded it, still nothing. I'm either pointing it towards bad ram or a bad mobo, but I have no clue and apparently I can't find out a way to update my BIOS.

Does your system meet the requirments for the game youre playing?

... Yeah I get good fps in all of them, but all of a sudden fps drops down to 5-6 for 5 to 10 minutes and then I can resume play fine.

Do you have any software that is consuming all of the computers resources?

Sounds like a disk fragmented issue, may I suggest you defrag your hard drive.

Another thought -- how much texture memory do you have on your video card? It's entirely possible that the lag is caused by the textures being loaded/unloaded. Have you tried turning down the graphics settings to minimum in the options to see if that makes any difference?
