Strange problem. My computer is mostly reasonably fast with tasks like browsing the web or writing and saving documents but when it comes to any games from Flash to relativley old games like Rome Total War or Battlefield 1942 and it runs horribly, even if a ramp everything down to low quality, this problem occurs on Single and Multiplayer but is more prevelant with Multiplayer. I understand that games require more than just RAM to play but I swear that this problem didnt always occur, it used to be able to play the above games perfectly fine.

I am incredibly confused why this seems to be happening though I do remember my computer having quite a few serious viruses recently (Trojans etc.), however all of these seem to be wiped out after I used a variety of protection programs like Norton 360 and AVG free. I have tried both Disk DeFrag and Registry cleaning but nothing seems to work.

You are running on integrated graphics this would be the problem. Even relatively old games like those need some kind of video card to run well.

Thats strange because those games did use to work well, ah well I will see about getting some better graphics.

Something else to keep in mind, if you used multiple antivirus programs make sure that no more than one is running and it may be best if you just had one installed anyways. If you have a desktop computer it may not be hard to add a graphics card (or 2 ), it depends on what your motherboard supports and what wattage your power supply is (and whether you want to buy one).

Thanks for the tip with the multiple anti-viruses. I have seen an improvement in the games but they start slowing down quite a bit after about half an hour of play. Could that be overheating/clocking or something else?
